In August of 2025, our friend Nora joined us in a road trip to Fort Peck, Montana, where we stayed in a dog-friendly AirBnB with a big fenced yard.

The dogs always greeted the man behind us when he came out to work in his garden.
Going for a walk at the Fort Peck Dam. My grandfather was one of the 10,000 workers who built this dam in the 1930s.
