The arrival of Alice

It was an exciting day when we drove to Canada to pick up Alice on October 24, 2010. For Jamie, it was a return to his birthplace at nearly one year of age, and for all of us it was the the big day we had been anticipating for months, when Alice would join the pack.

Alice was born on August 23, 2010, at Summerhill Samoyeds in Langley, BC. Alice's father was Jamie's grandfather, so she was his aunt, although she was 9 months younger than him and always felt more like his little sister.

Jamie and Alice had an amazing run for 10 years, sharing countless adventures across much of the United States and Canada. And then, just before we moved to Montana in early 2020, Nancy entered the picture.
