Thursday morning update

Thursday morning update
Isaac and I got up at 4:45, and were pulling out of the driveway at 5:30 this morning.

Isaac and I did an early morning search, and I'm dropping him off at home before heading back up so will do quick update. We didn't find anything new, but I'm a little more hopeful than last night because of multiple people searching today.

After Isaac and I searched up to the Vipond meadow, we ran into multiple people on the way back down who were heading up to search today. One of them was a man in a pickup who had Megan's phone number written on a scrap of paper and asked a some questions about where they were last spotted, and then while we were talking to him, two guys pulled up in a little red ATV.

They were guys that Aaron and I met yesterday, and they were headed up to search for Nancy and George. We talked at length about the specific ATV tracks around the area, and it turns out there is one rugged narrow track that I had never heard of or seen on maps, but they know it well and it connects to the area where Nancy and George were last spotted. So they were heading up to search that area first, and are there right now.

Friends in Butte have give me full access to this cabin they own along the Big Hole River, which is 5 miles from Quartz Hill Road. So this is the closest spot for me to get on the internet and communicate with the outside world when needed.

A friend of Aaron's up in Helena called Megan this morning, and he is going to search this afternoon with his two hunting dogs. He asked me to bring items with Nancy and George's smell on them, so I'm heading back up in a few minutes with those.

The blanket Nancy, George, and Isaac have been laying on in the parlor the last few weeks and Mr. Squirrel, ready to head up into the mountains to see if they can help.

Have to run for now, will update when I can.
